Paparoa Village will be hosting a series of events on Labour weekend 2012 to celebrate 150 years of European settlement in the area.

All times and events subject to confirmation
Friday October 19th 2012:
1600 hrs onwards Collect Registration and events tickets, etc at the In Paparoa hall
Meet and Greet = Social time for Chatting = View Still Displays etc
tea, Coffee, finger food etc
Saturday October 20th 2012:
0900 hrs Powhiri at the Pahi Wharf
1030 hrs Old Pahi Road Walk
depart Pahi walking the old Pahi Road route overland to SH 12 and down Hook Road – Lunch Box – Tractor and cart
1330 hrs Walk group to arrive at the landing at Paparoa
1400 hrs the Grand Parade from School House Lane to Show Grounds (Line up of floats, Bands and displays Etc)
1500 hrs to 1700hrs Vintage Sports on show in Show ground - Tennis etc
1600 hrs to ??? Lions food Caravan and/or Barbeques etc in show grounds giving those wishing to purchase food or alternatively a rest time before the-
1930 hrs approx Paparoa Bush Dance to be held in the Paparoa Hall (period costumes encouraged?)
Sunday October 21st 2012:
1030 hrs Paparoa Community Church Service followed by
1200 hrs Lunch (put on by Paparoa Community Church)
1400 hrs Cutters arriving at Pahi (Sea Scouts) provisional event only
1800 hrs Grand Banquet put on by Paparoa 150th Society -Speeches
2000 hrs Showtime at the Paparoa Hall
“Allen Adair” (musical directed by Peter Flower)
